Where the data comes from
Current conditions for Santa Rosa are provided by Urban Garden's rooftop weather system, including temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction, and barometric pressure. The system is an Oregon Scientific WM-918 using Virtual Weather Station software. Regional Observations are obtained at least once per hour through METAR and MESONET observation reports for the cities of Sonoma, Petaluma, Sebastopol, Guerneville, Bodega Bay, Napa, Ukiah, Clearlake and San Francisco. The Santa Rosa 5 Day Forecast is provided by the WeatherUnderground network and is updated throughout the day.
